Pramada is an ardent animal lover and advocates for animal welfare. She is a social activist who co-founded Animal Nepal as an NGO in 2009. She is one of the founders of Saathi- a pioneering NGO to break the silence on Domestic Violence against women and children. She is also the founder of Burns Violence Survivors Nepal- an NGO supporting acid and burn violence survivors. Married with one son, she has a large family consisting of a Tibetan Mastiff, 8 Tibetan Spaniels and 3 rescued strays.
Shristi is a vegan and an animal welfare campaigner who looks after five dogs and two cats (with seven kittens!). She is a Kali devotee who believes gods and goddesses do not demand blood from their children. She dreams of a world where all living beings are treated with respect, love and are granted their freedom.
Rita is a media person, and has been a program producer/presenter for the last 20 years. She loves animals and believes in the equality of both humans and animals. She has been a vegetarian for the past 23 years and is currently is an executive member of The Vegetarian Association of Nepal. She also conducts trainings for personality development at Rehabilitation centers. She practices meditation and Yoga for relaxation.
Paralita is a member of Rotary Club of Jawalakhel, Manjushree, Zonta Nepal and an executive board member of the Nepal Taekwondo Association. Her love for animals warranted her to join Animal Nepal where she feels she can help improve the lives of atleast a few animals.
Shova is a social entrepreneur and owner of 1905 Restaurant and The Farmers Mart. She has special interest in ‘green’ architecture. Her household is filled with dogs, especially Spaniels.
Saraswati is a vegan, writer and educator. She is a kind and compassionate soul who appreciates Mother Nature and believes in equality for all her creatures.
Uttam is a vegetarian by birth and worked as a teacher, media house manager, graphic designer and business entrepreneur before joining Animal Nepal as an Executive Director.

Dr.Yadav coordinates our Working Equine Outreach Programme. Apart from managing a Mobile Clinics programme in over 15 brick kilns, he looks after the Donkey Sanctuary and Hospital.He also takes record of the all rescued animals in our sanctuary and manages the overall donkey project.

Shanta Bahadur is a caretaker for the rescued working equines at our Godavari Donkey sanctuary. Apart from feeding and brushing the horses, mules, and donkeys, he grows fodder and vegetables. He is always cheerful and smiling and busy taking care of our rescued equines.
